LEMONT (Centre Co.) The 1994 Penn State Turfgrass Field Days is scheduled to be held Wed nesday August 10 through August 11 at Penn State University’s Joseph Valentine Turfgrass Research Center and the Land scape Management Research Cen ter at University Park. The location of the two research centers is on the northeast end of University Park, near the Rt. 322 bypass and near Beaver Stadium. Registration fee for the field days is $2O per person and no advance registration is needed. Although the deadline is past for tickets to a 6 p.m. barbecue sche duled for Wednesday by the Pen nsylvania Turfgrass Council, a number of plot tours and research tours are scheduled both days.
