LEBANON (Lebanon Co.)
Nimble fingers spun fine wool, the
shuttle of the weaving loom sped
between the warp, and the shearer
hand clipped the wool from a
docile sheep as the Lebanon Val
ley Woolcys Club demonstrated
the art of weaving a fine quality
shawl.
The demonstration at the Leba
non Fair on Tuesday night showed
fairgoers how wool shorn from a
sheep can quickly be transformed
into a wearable garment.

Hchnlcy of Myerstown, and shear
er Joe Schott of Lebanon.
The club meets regularly and
has participated in sheep to shawl
demonstrations for many years.
