Walker Wins York 4-H Supreme Honors

YORK (York Co.) Senior
4-H’er Brad Walker was named
supreme champion winner at the
York County 4-H Dairy Roundup,
held July 22 at the York Fair
grounds. Judge for the event was
Stacey VanSant of Maryland.

The New Freedom veteran 4-H
exhibitor took the overall honors
with his 4-ycar-old senior and
grand champion Holstein bread
winner warns Sexy Lady.
Placing in the reserve senior
and grand Holstein breed honors
was the senior 3-year-old Gentle-
Touch S. Wind Rebecca, exhibit-
ed by Amy Trimmer, East Berlin.
Junior honors in the Holstein
breed show were shared by
Daphne Doll, Glen Rock, with the
intermediate yearling Dar-Dale
Algonquin Stacy. Reserve cham
pion heifer was the senior calf Ste
wartridge Astre Jazzie, exhibited
by Jacob Hushon, Delta.
Ayrshire top awards went to
brothers Jesse and Jason Stam
baugh. Spring Grove.
Jesse took the cow class honors
with his aged cow Ray-Knoll Li
berators Angie, and reserve with
his senior 2-year-old, Goodie’s
