den Design is featured in the 1994
tour of Penn State Master Garden
ers Open House-Garden Tour.
The gardens are open to the public
free of charge on Saturday.
August 6, between the hours of
10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
' Gardens ranging from annuals,
perennials, fruit trees, and roses to
water gardens, vegetables and
herbs are represented to some
degree in each of the gardens. The
Master Gardeners will be in their
gardens to discuss them and any
other gardening questions with
visitors.
All homes on the tour will be
marked with posters. The gardens
may be visited in any order. No
smoking please. Respect home
owner’s property.

Three years ago the Master
Gardeners took on the project of
revamping and enlarging the beds
suirounding and scattered around
the Center. The annual garden is
changed each year using the latest
award-winning plants. The peren
nial beds have matured and show a
variety of seasonal interest.
