Holstein Club gave hearty thanks
to the Walker Farm Service,
Somerset, which financed the pur
chase of championship trophies
and T-shirts for first place win
ners, with a hefty contribution.
Curtis Day from Shippensburg
did the judging.
The show committee, chaired
by David Stahl had members Har
ry Mosholder, Dennis Reiman,
Joyce Ringler and Jane Smiley.
Carol Brown coordinated the
catalog. Decorating was done by
Martha Miller. Joyce Ringler or
ganized trophies and Mike Stutz
man was the announcer.
Trophies and ribbons were pre
sented by the Somerset County
dairy princess, Natalie Welch and
her first alternate Kelly Bittner.
Refreshments were available
throughout the event at the mo
bile, refrigerated dairy bam oper
ated by the Somerset County dairy
promotion committee, and at
Krause’s booth.
