Broiler/Fryer Market
Wednesday, July 6, 1994
Movement of ready-to-cook whole birda
remained good and offerings were general
ly well cleared, particularly on over 3
pound sizes which were in short supply.
Live supplied just moderate volume;
weights were desirable to light Processing
schedules remained very heavy and con
sideration was being given to reducing
some operations due to lighter than desired
weights. Less than trucldot asking prices
were unchanged at 52 to 60 cents. Trade
sentiment was firm to higher. In the parts
complex, all items continued to clear well.
Breast items, mainly, bone-in were short of
current inquiry.
