AND ABOUT STEADY FOR THE LARGE SIZES. DEMAND WAS LIGHT TO FAIR. AND EXPECTED TO INCREASE FOR THE EXTENDED HOLIDAY WEEKEND. ESPECIALLY IN VACA TION AREAS. SUPPLIES OF EXTRA LARGE AND JUMBO WERE SEASON ALLY TIGHT TO ADEQUATE, LARGE WERE ADEQUATE TO AVAILABLE. AND THE LIGHT SIZES WERE ADEQUATE TO AMPLE. National Egg Market Wednesday, June 29, 1994 NATIONAL EGG - AT A GLANCE: Prices were unchanged. The market tone was cautiously steady to steady. Demand was light to instances good, mostly fair, and best where featured and where pre holiday stocking began. Supplies remained at least adequate or available except jum bos and extra-large were light to barely adequate Breaking stock supplies were adequate for the unaggressive demand, and the trade sentiment was steady. Live hen supplies were at least adequate for the light to moderate demand, and the undertone was also generally steady. Trucklot buying interest was somewhat irregular today but improved overall. Sup plies of boneless skinless breasts were in good balance with current demand; howev er, sellers maintained inventories with added confidence. Whole breasts, both Grade A and line run product, were shop of trade needs. Very little additional product was offered. Trading was reported at high er prices and ‘the undertone was fully steady to firm. Dark meat items were well cleared at steady prices.
