VALLEY FRESH FOODS
Valley Fresh Foods' complexes In Turlock,
California, Townsend, Montana; Woodburn,
Oregon, and Rochester, Washington house 2 6
million birds, with several houses of Big Dutchman
Cage Systems
Arias chose the Big Dutchman chain system
because It handles the feed capacities he needs
for his high bird density houses It Is easy to adjust
the amount of feed and feeding schedule as
needed when making feed formulation changes It
all adds up to more eggs and better feed
conversion

Joe Arias, President of Valley Fresh Foods, Inc believes his
decision to use Big Dutchman Cage Systems with Chain
Feeding is right on the money. Mr. Arias has been changing
over to Big Dutchman for several years and has plans to
continue to equip future houses with Big Dutchman systems.
The bottom line, he says, “is that Big Dutchman's chain
feeding system promotes better management flexibility that
equates to higher profits."
The computer print-outs from the current test* in Turlock,
California, confirm to Mr Arias his decision to go with Big
Dutchman Chain Feeding provides him with more eggs,
better feed conversion and fewer undergrades than drag
auger feeding.
