and agricultural industries, will
hold a field day for crop produc
uon at the Westmoreland County
Fairgrounds on Tuesday, June 7.
Sessions will run from 1 p.m. to
4 p.m. and be repeated from 7 p.m.
to 9 p.m. Full-time and part-time
farmers can attend.
Thii will be an excellent oppor
tunity for farmers to get out in the
fields at the fairgrounds to see
crops first hand and discuss early
season crop management, prob
lems and solutions with experts
from Penn Slate and agricultural
industries. Talks will be in the
fields so farmers can look at the
problems in western Pennsylvania
this year and discuss solutions.
The day also includes commer
cial exhibits by agricultural sup
pliers and, pending approval by
the Pennsylvania Department of
Agriculture, two category (01)
credits toward pesticide applicator
