After climbing a rock-strewn hillside covered with wet leaves, Allen pointed me in the direction of our truck while he donned rain gear and finally brought the boat back to the dock. In a little while the sun again appeared and some cars arrived bringing other fishermen who fished from the shore. One group contained a little boy who caught a small fish and his gleeful laughter could be heard across the water. Next time I’ll check the weather before we leave home.
