Meyers Joins ADADC

for the American Dairy Associa
tion and Dairy Council, Inc.
(ADADC). She replaces Shirley
Griffith, who has retired after 17
years with ADADC.
In addition to coordinating the
New York State Dairy Princess
Program and producing Promo
tion Focus (the quarterly member
ship) newsletter for dairy farmer
in Federal Order 2), Meyers will
be responsible for writing news
releases for the farm press and co
ordinating special events.
Meyers brings a strong back
ground in agricultural communi
cations to the position. Most re
cently, she was member program
director for Eastern Milk Produc
ers Cooperative Association, Inc.,

Meyers is a former Franklin
County, Pennsylvania Dairy Prin
cess and has contributed to the
New York State Dairy Princess
Program by presenting the news
release writing workshop at the
training seminar and serving as a
judge for the state pageant.
Outside of ADADC, Meyers
serves on the boards of the New
York Farm-City Council and the
Central New York Chapter of the
Public Relations Society of
