steady to $l.OO higher, feeder heifen
steady to $l.OO lower. Few stocker cattle
steady. Demand moderate to good and
somewhat improved from last week. Trade
moderately active. Supply primarily feeder
cattle off graza-out wheat. Quality plain to
average, few attractive. Waigh-npa moatly
avenge. Flesh conditions of feeders highly
varied Dam slightly thin to mainly fleshy.
Slaughter cows steady to $.75 lower,
decline on fleshy cows. Slaughter bolls
$1.50 lower. Demand very good for cows.
Receipts this week 13,600; last week
16,323; last year 12,209. Supply consisted
of 89 percent yeailings over6oolbs.; 7 per
cent calves and Stockers under 600 lbs.; 4
percent cows and bulls. Prices fallow with
weighted avenge weight and price in
parenthesis.
