Herd #1- 48 head from Maryland, 8 recently fresh, 10 dry. A herd bred
for heavy base milk with a lot of young cows that will produce. A home
raised herd.
Herd #2- The complete milking herd dispersal of Daniel S. and Barbara
Sue Kauffman, Churchtown, Pa. Not an ordinary herd of cows, Dan has
done an excellent job of breeding to the right bulls. With 24 heifers in the
herd within the last 4 years. A very low cellmatic count with several cows
milking 80 to 90 lbs. right now. IS are due in the next 60 days.
These two herds are worth your time and attendance. If you want to
improve your herd don’t miss this sale. Both dispersals are due to discon
tinuation of the dairy.
