The market tone war about steady to weak, and cautious in all areas. Demand was fair to very good as holiday purchasing continued, and retail specials enhanced movement Supplies were adequate to hilly adequate or avail able. Supplies of boneless skinless breasts in trucklot volumes were readily available and traded at lower prices while smaller volumes were at least adequate and traded mostly at 1.80. The trade sentiment was weak for immediate but rated as fully steady to firm for next week. Line tun breasts were available but most buyers were full until at least next Tuesday. Drumsticks continued to be burdensome with shippers asking sharply lower prices, other dark meat items were adequate. Wings were also burdensome, prices trended lower, and the undertone was weak.
