Zook Promoted
READING (Berks Co.)
Meridian Bank has announced the
promotion of Robert N. Zook,
Leola, to the position of vice pres
ident in the bank’s agricultural
business lending department serv
ing the Susquehanna Valley area.
Zook joined the company in
1977 as a lender in the agri
business department. He was pre
viously associated with Lancaster
Farm Credit and with Merchants
National Bank.
Zook was graduated from Con
estoga Valley High School and
attended the National Advanced
Agricultural Banking School. He
has completed various courses
offered through the American
Institute of Banking.
Zook serves as president of the
Farm and Home Foundation of
Lancaster County and is the
immediate past chairman of the
Yeo Farms Sets Date
For Competition, Sale
LOWELLVILLE. Ohio Yeo
Farms announced that its Yeo
Farms Club Lamb Sale and Live
stock Judging Competition will
take place at the farm on Saturday,
April 30.
Registration for the judging
competition is set for 9:45 a.m. at
the farm that day. Junior and
senior judging teams from 4-H
and FFA Clubs are being invited
from counties in Ohio, Pennsylva
nia, New York, Maryland, and
West Virginia. Yeo Farms will
provide several classes of sheep
and catde from their operations
for both team and individual judg
ing competitions.
The Yeo Farms Club Lamb
Sale will take place after the judg
ing competition, approximately
1:30 p.m. A total of 30-35 lambs
will be offered to 4-H and FFA
buyers to use as summer projects
