pork producers in Noth Carolina
are becoming cattlemen with
stocker grazing programs.

ers are irrigating pasture land with
swine lagoon effluent and study
ing the performance of grazing
beef calves. Hie results have been
promising, with producers report
ing return per acre in the
$4OO-5420 range.
