Dairy Judging Contest
UNIVERSITY PARK (Centre
Co.) The annual Spring Dairy
Judging Contest, sponsored by
Penn Stale’s Dairy Science Club,
will be held Saturday, March 19,
at the Ag Arena.
Open to all Pennsylvania 4-H
and FFA members, the contest
will consist of five divisions:
senior and junior 4-H, senior and
junior FFA. and collegiate.
The number of entrants per
county has changed this year.
Each county will be allowed 10
contestants in the 4-H division,
and each FFA chapter a maximum
of eight.

through the marketing of genetics.

The Spring Dairy Judging Con
test is an important part of the
Dairy Science Club’s annual
Dairy Exposition, the annual
showing and fitting competition
among club members. The exposi
tion, to be held Saturday, April 23,
also features special events such
as a celebrity milking contest, calf
dressing, and milk chugging con
tests. The awards banquet for the
dairy judging contest and exposi
tion also will be held on April 23.
