Adams County 4-H announced
seven Adams County members as
county winners in the 1994 Key
stone Recognition Award
Program.
The award winners are Laura
Mayer, New Oxford; Marci
James, Gettysburg; Beth Green.
Gettysburg; Kristin Johnston, Get
tysburg; Julie Zepp, New Oxford:
Joy Hess, Gettysburg; and Jessica
Dayhoff, Gettysburg.
These Adams County 4-H
members will enter into competi
tion with 4-H members from
every part of the state. The top
scoring members will be desig
nated Keystone Winners and will
be invited to Penn State Universi
ty on May 3 for a personal inter
view. As a result of the interview,
a number of state winners will be
selected. The state winners will
represent Pennsylvania at Nation
al 4-H Club Congress to be held in
December in Orlando.

Forty-three Cargill Grain
offices will participate in the pro
ject by presenting three environ
mental books to public and high
school libraries throughout Alaba
ma, Delaware, Florida, Illinois.
Indiana, Georgia, Mississippi.
Ohio, New York, North Carolina,
Pennsylvania, and South Carolina.
