r 'V L d Grassland FFA Celebrates National FFA Week By Andrea Snader FFA Member Every year, the National FFA designates one week a year as “National FFA Week” in order to promote agriculture education. Since agriculture education and the FFA ensure a steady supply of young professionals to meet the growing demands in the areas of science, business, and technology of agriculture, the theme chosen for this year was “Leadership for America.” FFA Week was officially held Feb. 19-26. This year, the Grassland FFA decided to undertake a couple of activities in order to promote the organization around the Garden Spot High School. For starters, the Chapter decorated a s lowcase in the school hallway. Included was a miniature replica of a hydropn ics (plants gorwn in water supple mented with nutrients) and aqua culture (fish production) unit such as the chapter is working with.
