unchanged. Trade sentiment was generally
steady. Demand ranged moderate to good.
Some traders reported today's adverse
weather was increasing orders. Supplies
were in good balance. New England shell
egg inventories were up 10%. National
inventories increased 9%, the first upward
move in 6 weeks.

Trucklot buying interest was light to fair
and somewhat slower than expected for
mid-week needs. Supplies of boneless
skinless breasts were irregularly distri
buted, but in close balance to adequate
overall. The trade sentiment was steady for
immediate shipments but on the firm side
for early next week. Line run breasts were
adequate but shippers of yellow skin pro
duct asked steady to higher prices for late
week deliveries. Most buyers were selec
tive but needed additional product for next
week. The undertone ranged steady to
film. Dark meat items cleared the maiket
but buyers were cautious. Wings were
steady.
