Consisting of 38 Holstein cows of which 16
are registered and 16 Guernsey cows all regis
tered, 16 holsteins plus S Guernsey fresh in the
last 60 days. 5 holsteins plus 3 Guernseys due
in the next 45 days, balance in different stages
of lactation. Mostly young cows with good
udders, and in good condition. Mostly AI sired
and AI bred. DHIA records announced sale
day.
Sires: Count, Tesk, Rockie, Buttermost,
Fayette, Playboy, and young sires. Service
sires; Cubby, Buckeye, Jetstar, Frank and
young AI sires.
Heifers include: 2 bred holsteins, 20 breed
ing age Holsteins, 2 breeding age Guernseys
and 6 yearling Guernseys, 3 December calves.
Herd is Callhood vaccinated and vaccinated
for IBR, BVD, Pl 3, Lepto, etc. Semen to be
sold - Holstein, Guernsey, Jersey.
Herd to be pregnancy checked and tested
for Interstate shipment All of the Guernseys
plus some Holsteins are halter broke, they
have been show cattle.
Sale to be held in tent. Loading chute
