    ENGLEWOOD, Colo. Once
again, the Limousin show at the
National Western Stock Show in
Denver January 14 lived up to its
billing as one of the breed’s pre
mier shows of the year.
Randy Daniels of Colbert,
Georgia evaluated 14S females
and 61 bulls which comprised one
of the deepest quality sets of
Limousin ever paraded in Denver.
Mike McGuire of Alabama served
as the associate judge.
By the end of the show, specta
tors also had a chance to see just
how widespread breed quality is
from both a and an exhibi
tor standpoint. Of the 16 division
champions and reserve champ
ions, 21 different owners were
represented and 12 different sires.
For grand champion bull honors
the judges went with their Divi
sion 111 champion, OTSS Broker
21248. The 4/1/92 son of YKCC
Top Line 180 X is out of YKCL
Miss Virginian RIO3V and is
owned by Stewman Ranches of
Maryneal, Texas. Broker made
history with this win, becoming
only the third Limousin bull in
history to win the breed’s presti
gious Triple Crown, collecting
grand championships at the All
American Limousin Futurity,
Louisville and Denver.
Four Bears PQ 868 was named
Division 111 reserve champion and
reserve grand champion bull over
all at the halter of Lookout Limou
sin, Timber Lake, S.D. and MCM
Limousin of Calgary, Alberta.
Four Bears is a black 6/1/92 son of
LKCC Tomahawk’s Touchdown
out of Lookout Billie 220 R.
In the female show, Bonnie’s
Tull 2028, a 3/5/92 WRC Punch
daughter out of TEXS Star Mercy
was named Division m and grand
champion female. Exhibitors were

Jersey Inc. (NAJ), Reynoldsburg,
Ohio.
Brown is to oversee day-to-day
operations of the milk marketing
organization which has marketing
programs in almost every state. He
will direct continuing efforts by
National All-Jersey to promote
implementation of multiple com
ponent pricing in the federal order
system.
In addition. Brown is to coor
dinate NAJ staff efforts to develop
equitable markets for Jersey milk
producers, and provide leadership
in encouraging research and edu
cation in milk manufacturing and
marketing.
