Casey’s new state budget will improve efforts to protect animal health and food inspection programs, and provides funds to help farmers develop nutrient management plans, according to Agriculture Secret ary Boyd E. Wolff. - “The governor’s budget calls for $207,000 in state funds and $2.4 million in Capitol Budget funding to improve diagnostic ser vices at laboratories at Penn State.
