This year, the Garden Spot Red
Rose DHIA Dairymen of Lancas
ter County and their families will
meet at the Ronks Fire Hall in
Ronks, Pa. for their DHIA ban
quet on Feb. 2. This banquet will
begin with a family-style lunch at
11:45 a.m. Their entertainment
will be Jay Irwin, retired extension
director of Lancaster County. He
will present a slide show of agri
culture in Romania to the group.
Marci Hamish. Lancaster dairy
princess, will be a guest speaker.
This year’s agenda will also
include speakers Robert Kindig,
Pennsylvania’s National DHIA
representative: Norman Herhsye,
Pa. State Director, District 18; and
David Slusser, Pennsylvania’s
new general manager. Tickets can
