While dent corn is composed of 25%
amylose... the less digestible starch, CFS
waxy is 100% amylopectin, and zero amylose.
Starch intake is what produces milk and
weight gain in livestock. It stands to reason
that CFS waxy will produce more milk for
dairy producers and faster weight gain for
livestock producers, on less grain fed.
