structure built in 1979 (or high moisture shelled corn. A second unit, for forage, built the next year. 8%
of milk check covers protein supplement purchases. Manure stored in a 62x19 Slurrystore* system built
in 1990.
L CAMPBELL t FAMILY: Last year shipped over 18,000 lbs. milk/cow from this 115-cow herd. Total
mixed ration fed to two production groups. Purchase feed costs are less than 7% of milk check.
SINGER DAIRY FARM (pictured above); 90 milking cows; 180 head young cattle and dairy steers.
Dairy herd, which receives a total mixed ration, is producing 65lbs/head daily with R.H.A. of 24,0001b5.
