ly established National Forum on
Nonpoint Source Pollution.
Principal sources of nonpoint
source pollution include water
runoff from farms, city streets,
residential lawns, parking lots,
and construction sites. The Forum
is charged with advancing creative
solutions by forging partnerships
between government and the pri
vate sector to harness market for
ces, education, and the nation’s
voluntary spirit to achieve real
