Tnicklot buying interest was somewhat
slower today than early week, but about as
expected. Supplies of boneless skinless
breasts were adequate to cover regular
commitments but short of covering buyer
inquiries for additional product for imme
diate needs. Most trading was at 1.80 but a
little buyer resistance was noted in some
quarters. Line run breasts were in close
balance to tight with some buyer inquiries
not covered. Prices trended higher and the
undertone was fully steady. Dark meat
items were well cleared with a fully steady
undertone on some items. Yellow wings
continued light, white wings were
showing.

Egg Market
Wednesday, January 5, 1994
Prices were lower for the large sizes, and
unchanged for mediums. Trade sentiment
was weak on the large sizes, and barely
steady for mediums. Demand was irregu
lar, and covered the full range. Yesterday's
winter storm interrupted deliveries in some
locations and some distributors found floor
stocks tight, but overall, supplies of the
large sizes were at least adequate, and
mediums were adequate.
