some stage of development, as
some commercial and agricultural
commodity exhibitors spend years
in advance planning to attend the
largest free indoor agricultural
expo in the nation.
And slate officials, such as Vic
toria Ritter, Farm Show director,
never really stop working from
opening day 'to opening day.

1994 Farm Products Show Bigger, Better, Busier
activity is full. Since presstime
Thursday, at least one judge was to
have been already making final
decisions and placing ribbons
Randy Sprague, of Portville,
N.Y., was to have judged the
maple syrup products display.
Today is also full with judging
of poultry, swine, Christmas trees,
horticultural commodities, grains,
and vegetables.
And leading up to this coming
week, for several weeks farm fam
ilies around the state have been
selecting animals, brushing, car
ing, washing, grooming, walking
them and getting them used to con
stant attention and other people, in
preparation for one of the high
lights of the year.
