The Pennsylvania Beef Expo Committee has applications avail able for the 1994 Pennsylvania Junior Cattlemen’s Association Beef Expo Preview shows. The junior show will be held on Sunday, April 10, with heifers shown at 9 a.m. and the steer show beginning at 10 a.m. Junior cattle should arrive the afternoon of Saturday, April 9. The 1994 Beef Expo will be held Friday, Satur day, and Sunday, April 8-10 at the Farm Show Building in Harrisburg. This will be the Fourth annual Steer and Heifer Preview Show sponsored by the Pennsylvania Cattlemen’s Association. This youth event has become increas ingly more popular with Pennsyl vania junior cattlemen. Heifer classes will be available for heif ers bom between April 1, 1992 and October 1, 1993. Heifers will be shown by breeds. There will also be a class for crossbred breed ing heifers. The junior steer show is sche duled for 10 a.m., Sunday. April 10, with six, nine or 12 weight classes, depending on the number of entries. Steers will be weighed in between 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 9. There will be several other spe ;ial youth activities beginning at 8 i.m. on Saturday, April 9 and con .inuing through the next day. These activities will include an obstacle course, a Skillathon, and several other educational and skill requiring events. Entries for con testants in the junior activities will be available on an individual and team basis. Cash awards will be given for both the junior preview shows as well as the junior team and individual events.
