Delmarva
Broiler/Fryer Market
Wednesday, December 8, 1993
Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
was about moderate. Seller offerings
ranged adequate to fully adequate. Live
supplies were moderate; weights were
desirable, occasionally light Processing
schedules varied, but remained very heavy
in total. Less than tiucklot asking prices
were unchanged at 50 to 62 cents. Trade
sentiment was steady. In the parts com
plex, wings were short of an active call.
Legs and leg quarters were adequate,
instances tight. Drums and thighs were in
fairly good balance. Bone-in breasts were
generally easy to place. Boneless skinless
breasts remained fully adequate, but in bet
ter balance than yesterday.
