WEST MIDDLESEX, (Mercer
Co.) The 1994 officers and
directors of the Pennsylvania For
age and Grassland Council were
elected at the Annual Forage Con
ference on Ndv. 23.
The PFGC rotates the office of
president and vice-president
between the three groups of
scientist/educators, farmers, and
industry.
Outgong PFGC president is
Mark Dayman, dairy &rmer and
forage producer from Waynesbor
o. Mark passed the gavel to
Michael J. Galbraith, industry rep
resentative, for his term as presi
dent of PFGC for 1994.
Mike is employed by Young’s -
Livestock Nutritional Services,
Roaring Spring, as forage crop
stabilizer .manager and speciality
products manager for hay and sil
age stabilizers, hay drying agents,
application equipment and mois
ture testers.

Two new directors and one
incumbent director were elected to
the PFGC Board for three-year
terms: David Hileman, Donald
Overdorff and Michael Galbraith.

David Hileman, Tyrone (Blair
County). Dave farms 500 acres
and has a 300 cow dairy farm.
Dave will be serving his first year
as director. ■
Fred England, Williamsburg
(Blair County). Fred also operates
a dairy farm with over 750 tillable
acres and 180 cows with his wife
Cynthia and his two brothers. Fred
will be serving his third year as
director.
Mark Cayman, Waynesboro
(Franklin County). Mark and his
wife Sally operate a dairy farm
near Waynesboro. Mark is PFGC
Past-President and continues in
his second term as PFGC Director.
