Co.) —Kipe Sled held their dealer
training workshop recently at their
company headquarters here. The
workshop focused on milking par
lor and free stall design.
A new parlor concept was also
introduced the straight-through
herringbone parlor designed to les
sen hip damage and speed parlor
loading.
Tours to various farms with
parallel and herringbone parlors
was part of the workshop. Dealers
from the U.S. and Canada
participated.

Blanks, president of Alfa Laval
Agri, was awarded the National
American FFA Honorary Degree
during the recent National FFA
Convention held in Kansas City.

The award recognizes the
efforts made by individuals in
behalf of die FFA to promote and
sponsor agricultural education,
leadership activities, and history.
It is the highest FFA degree.
During his many years of ser
vice with Alfa Laval Agri in the
United States, Blanks has strived
to make a positive difference to
FFA members by implementing
educational and leadership prog
rams. He has also been instrumen
tal in offering service and support
to the Agricultural Hall of Fame
and others.
Blanks received the award at
the 66th National FFA Conven
tion held November 10-13. It was
attended by more than 29,000
people.
