The meeting begins at 10 a.m. Under the theme “Two-Way Talk” MMl’s Executive Vice President and CEO Don Schriver and Chairman of the Board Her man Brubaker will repent to the delegates on the recent marketing scenarios facing producers in MMTs eight state area. “We’re interested in feedback from the membership, so we’re putting the invitation to participate right out front,” said Schriver. “This has not been an easy year for dairy producers. I can’t think of a better time for some positive, face-to-face talks.” The annual meeting, as in previous years, will conclude with a delegate question answer session with MMl’s senior staff. Seipt has been recognized as an Outstanding Alumnus by Penn Slate's College of Agricultural Sciences. A 1950 graduate in dairy science, Seipt is known internationally as an authority in dairy herd manage ment and dairy cattle judging. Seipt accepted the award at a reception and dinner at the Nittany Lion Inn at University Park earlier this month. Seipt also met with Dairy and Animal Science stu dents and faculty in classroom set tings and presented several lec tures. He challenged members of the Dairy Science Club to be aggressive in their learning and become involved in activities bey ond the classroom. He told them. “What you learn will be helpful in many areas of life, not just in the dairy industry." Seipt is a Pennsylvania Master Farmer and has received many awards, including the Pennsylva nia Dairymen's Association Cow an Award for dairy leadership, the Holstein Association Progressive Breeder Registry Award for the past 35 yean, and the Penn State Dairy Science Club Distinguished Alumnus Award, to name a few.
