dent of the Eastern Young Co
operator* (YC), the educational
and leadership development aim
of Eastern Milk Producers Co
operative Association Inc., a Syra
cuse-based milk marketing co
operative.
Gail is the first female president
and third president since its incep
tion in 1987. She succeeds John
Stephan, Phelps, N.Y. who com
pleted four, one-year terms; the
maximum by-law allowance. Fo
cusing on education, leadership
and fellowship, the YC program is
offered to Eastern members and
their employees ages 17-40.
Upon being dec ted, Gail said,
“I’m looking forward to the many
challenges facing the YCs as we
move forward in the promotion
and development of this growing
program.”
