GLANCE: Prices were unchanged. The
market tone was generally steady. Demand
was irregular and covered.the full range.
Retail specials and food service provided
the best movement Supplies were mixed
from closely balanced ample, and most
supplies were adequate or available.
Breakers ran full schedules with regularly
committed shell eggs. Light type hen
markets were steady to firm, and offerings
were adequate.

Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
was noted as moderate at moat plants. Sell
er offering were fully adequate. Live sup
plies were moderate. Weights were desir
able, instances lighter than desired. Pro
cessing schedules remained very heavy in
spite of some plants trimming operations.
Less than tmclclot asking prices were
unchanged at 52 to 64 cents. Trade senti
ment was steady. In the parts complex, leg
quarters were in firm hands. Boneless skin
less breasts were not as available as earlier.
Grade A whole breasts cleared well, but
other stocks were ample. Wings were in
heavy supply. Increased demand was noted
on thigh.
