NDB BROOKFIELD, Wis. The 36 dairy farmers serving on the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board looked at milk production based on regional rep resentation of the country during their Sept. 22-23 business meeting. As part of the order establishing the National Dairy Board, the board must review the relationship of milk production to National Dairy Board representation at least every five years. Because of a shift in milk production, the board voted to recommend to U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Mike Espy that representation from Region 8 (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and Ken tucky) includes one less member while Region 4 (New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Texas) gains one member. Cur rently, both regions have two dairy farmer board members each. National Dairy Board members .Warm up to our cool rgl vQ ~£F-‘ 0y l y ®K *«b& I •!
