Markets gener ally uneven with moderate to good demand for front end cattle and fair demand for balance. Brahma cross yearlings and calves came under additional downward pressure as buyers remember last winters difficult conditions. Buyers seemed to con centrate on heifer calves due to wide' gap created between steers and heifers last week. Yearling condition somewhat improved with several in slightly thin con dition and attractive to buyers. Yearling weigh-ups continue average to full. Calf quality unchanged from last week and average with bulk in average to fleshy con dition. Utility slaughter cows $3.00-$4.00 lower, Cutters steady to $l.OO lower. Slaughter bulls steady.
