In the Ayrshire show, Michele
Kobosky of Warriors Mark
showed the grand and senior
champion, a senior 3-year-old,
Marton Leigh BBK Marina. This
cow won the open and youth
shows at Centre County’s Fair
held at the Grange Fairground the
end of August
Michele earned both a reserve
showman award and was judging
champion for all ages for all types
of livestock at that fair.
Kobosky’s 4-year-old Dairy-
Ayr BBK Mario won the reserve
honors while Daniel Rishel of
Union County won best bred and
owned honors with his Spring
Calf. Rishel also showed the Ayr
shire junior champion. Amanda
Fraley’s summer yearling took the
reserve junior champion award.
Of the three Milking Shorthorn
entries, the two winter calf entries
took the top honors. Amy Jo New
man’s Walnut Hollows Bess
earned both junior and grand
champion ribbons, while John A.
Troxell Jr. won reserve junior
