Delmarva
Broiler/Fryer Market
Wednesday, September 22, 1993
Movement of ready-10-cook whole birds
was generally limited to previous commit
ments. Seller offerings were readily avail
able and slow in clearing, particularly 3
pound and heavier sizes. Live supplies
were moderate. Weights were often hea
vier than desired. Processing schedules
remained heavy. Less than trucklot asking
prices were I cent lower at 57 to 67 cents.
Trade sentiment was weak and unsettled.
In the parts complex, all items were noted
as available and slow in clearing with the
exception of boneless skinless thighs,
which were short of full inquiry.
