Pricei trended higher. The trade senli
ment war fully steady to firm. Movement
of cartoned eggs into retail channels was
fairly good to good. Supplies of larger
sizes continued in close balance with trade
needs, mediums were adequate. The New
Jersey inventory was 21 percent below last
Monday’s level and the New York inven
tory was 10 percent above last week.

Trucklot buying interest wai light and
limited to immediate needs only. Supplies
of boneless skinless breasts were irregular
ly distributed and ranged adequate to fully
adequate. Trading was reported at lower
prices and the undertone was weak. Line
tun breasts were available and offered.
Buyers bid sharply lower prices and most
hoped their bids would not be accepted.
Trading was limited to standing commit
ments. Thighs were short of trade needs.
Legs and drumsticks were adequate but
flow to clear. Leg quarters were fully
adequate to ample. Prices trended lower.
Wings were readily available, trading was
at compeu'tive prices.
