Snyder Captures Supreme Champion Sheep At Reading Fair

combination of five yean of show
ing experience, breeding, and
genetics combined to help Bruce
Snyder, 18. Kutztown, finally
clinch a championship Monday
afternoon at the Reading Fair.
Not only did Bruce clinch a
supreme cluunpion sheep ribbon at
the fair, but he swept both ewe and
ram championships. The son of
Forest and Lorraine Snyder, the
FFA’cr has shown at the fair five
yean in a row, and won reserve
championships three straight
times. At Reading, his Dorset fall
ram “Ed” and a Southdown spring
ewe lamb were picked as
champions.
Bruce has been especially busy
this fair season, attending about 14
fain. He has recently shown at the
Kutztown and Allentown fain, in
addition to the Gaithenburg, Md.
fair. He will attend the Farming
ton. NJ. fair in addition to the
Bloomsburg Fair and the Keystone
International Livestock Expo.
Bruce works nearly full-time in
a pallet repair business, and will
continue to show at the Reading
Fair if his schedule allows, accord
ing to his father.
