the basement meeting room of the
Lancaster County Farm and Home
Center.
The fust meeting will be con
ducted on Wednesday, September
29. This broadcast will concen
trate on precision planting, tram
lines, variety selection, weed con
trol, the important link between
management practices and wheat
growth stages, and the importance
of a total wheat management
package concept. The meeting
will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude
at noon. The program will include
a 30-minutc segment where any
one can ask questions of the Vir
ginia Tech specialists. In addition
to the teleconference, Penn State
Agronomy Department members
will be on hand to answer ques
tions of local interest.
The program is available to
anyone who has a satellite dish ca
