HARRISBURG (Dauphin Co.) —The Keystone Inter
national Livestock Exposition will be held September
30-October 4, at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg,
PA.
Exhibitors from Pennsylvania can enter one or two
pigs in place of the pigs that would be entered in the regu
lar Junior Batrow Show. Pigs will be weighed and identi
fied at the farm, and brought to the Exposition with any
other barrows. Pigs will be judged on-foot, but they will
also be judged on the basis of weight gain and carcass

burg. The Exposition is recognized nationally as a show
case for the nation’s top beef cattle, swine, sheep, and
horses. It will be held at the Farm Show Complex in Har
risburg on September 30-October 4.
Two strolling acts have been booked for the show this
October, which should delight both young and old alike.
The acts, which are booked primarily for Thursday even
ing, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, will amble around the
Farm Show Complex putting on their shows. For too

in this class, representing about 62 Pennsylvania youth.
All pigs weighed in June at less than 60 pounds.
Premiums in this class are $500.00 for the champion
and $250.00 for the reserve. The primary purpose of this
class is to tell how much muscle an animal puts on each
day, thus giving breeders more information on feed con
versions and feed efficiencies.
