    Winners Named At Va. Angus Breeders * Show
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. Angus
breeders paraded 129 entries for
Bill Rishel, North Platte, Nebras
ka, at the 32nd Annual Virginia
Angus Breeders* Show. The event
was held July 24, in Harrisonburg,
Virgina.
Hale O Goliath lopped the bull
entries, taking home the grand
champion title. He is an October
1991 son of TC Stockman and was
also the senior champion winner
in the show. He is owned by Hale
0 Farms Inc., Bland.
The reserve grand champion
bull was J D H Branson 0642, an
April 1992 son of TC Stockman.
This entry is owned by J D H
Cattle Company, The Plains. He
was also the junior champion
winner.
In the heifer competition, W R
B Priscilla 412 was the grand
champion winner. She is a March
1992 daughter of W R B Prime
Time, and was previously named
the junior champion heifer. She is
owned by Roger Bowles, Kents
Store.
Taking home the reserve grand
champion female award was Ank
ony Emulous Elira 2488. This
heifer, which was also the reserve
junior champion entry, is an April
1992 daughter of Ankonian Bay
ard. She is owned jointly by Ank
ony Angus Corporation Inc.,
Minatare, Nebraska; Wally Black,
Clarksville. Georgia; and I N A
Farm Corporation, Waterford,
Virginia
Whitestone Rita 186 was cho
sen as the supreme champion
entry in the show and also the
grand champion owned cow with
natural calf and grand champion
cow-calf pair. This April 1991
daughter of F F Starstruck was
shown with her March 1993 bull
calf that is sired by Century
Touchstone 131. The pair was
shown by Whitestone Farm,
Aldie.
Taking the reserve grand
champion owned cow with natural
calf and reserve grand champion
cow-calf pair honors was Delia 4
of Windy Cove. Annfield Corpo
ration, Berryville, owns this Janu
ary 1991 daughter of R O R Roy
alty 108 T. She was joined by her
April 1993 heifer calf that is sired
