Alfred and Katherine Tyler of Weston Farm in Glen Arm, Md., have entered one of Eastern States Exposition’s prestigious livestock shows held during The Big E here. The Tylers have entered 11 Montadale sheep for show and competition in the Montadale Show, which will be held Sunday; September 19, at 9 a.m. in Agri culture Arena 1. Hie 72nd edition of “New Eng land’s Great State Fair” will take place September 15-26 and is ex pected to draw one million visitors during this year’s 12-day run. More than 5,000 livestock en tries from throughout New Eng land, eastern Canada, and as far away as Ohio and Indiana will compete for ribbons and cash priz es. Livestock from more than 500 farms will be shown in continuous competition and in exhibitions, making The Big E one of the ma jor livestock shows in the East The Fair’s 4-H/FFA Day is Satur day, September 18. Top name entertainment, thrill ing rides, sensational free shows, tasty treats and crafts to treasure add to the memory-making excite ment and magic of The Big E. Visitors will discover everything from agriculture to zero gravity at the fair’s educational and historic exhibits, including bam tours and the U.S. Space Camp® Expo.
