land Co.) —Jack Rote and Christ
opher Reichard were some of the
big winners during the Southcent
ral District FFA Dairy Show held
at the Shippensbuig Fairgrounds.
Rote, who is a member of the
Blue Ridge FFA chapter in Frank
lin County, was named the grand
champion fitter of the show. He
competed against 13 other contes
tants in the fitting contest to win
that award.
Reichard, who also is a member
of the Blue Ridge chapter, was
chosen as the grand champion
showperson. He competed against
17 other entrants.

In the showing and fitting event, the grand
champion and senior champion shower and fit
ter was Elizabeth Walton, with Melanie Dietrich
of Newburg in as the reserve grand and the
reserve senior champion.
The champion intermediate shower and fitter
was David Day of Shippcnsburg. Rebecca Corn
man won the reserve title in the intermediate
event
Sarah Day of Shippensburg was the champion
junior shower and fitter and Scott Walton of
Carlisle was the reserve junior champion.
