Foust Hidden Oaks in Gettysburg.

In the heifer competition, Katie
Myers of Dallastown captured the
grand champion tide with DVF
Ironstone Beauty bom 9-3-92.
The reserve champion heifer was
Simme Valley Bridgette shown by
Timothy Bishop of Homer City.
Wade Myers of Dallastown
exhibited the grand champion
steer. The reserve champion steer
was shown by Matt Messick of
Middletown.
In the showmanship competi
tion, Erie Berkheimer of Mecha
nicsburg won the champion senior
showman award. The champion
junior showman was Raymond
Slough of Seven Valleys. Each
champion was awarded a direc
tor’s chair. Directors chairs and
ribbons were donated by Carli
sle’s Simmentals, DAD Land and
Cattle, Messick Farms, and Pick
ering Meadows Farms.
This was one of the largest Pen
nsylvania Junior Simmental Asso
ciation Field Day shows, with a
total of 31 animals exhibited by 14
juniors.
