Baseball Fans Devour Ice Cream

of a promotion by the Maryland
Dairy Princess Committee and
Mid-Atlantic Milk Marketing
Association.
Traveling by bus from Freder
ick, volunteers from the Maryland
Dairy Princess Committee and
Maryland Holstein Association
were in positions at the opening
gates for distribution of 3,000 car
tons of milk and tote bags.

Bowie Bay Sox baseball game.

After the contest, Frederick Coun
ty Dairy Princess Abigail Sowers,
sang the National Anthem and
threw out the Erst pitch.
After the first inning, it was
announced that free ice cream
would be distributed. There was a
rush for the concessions where
they picked up ice cream sandwi
ches and brought them back to the
stands to enjoy.
The ice cream was donated by
Jack & Jill, and Dairy Maid pro
vided the milk. The tote bags were
co-sponsored by MAMMA, and
WBFF-TV, Fox 45.
