The competition in the junior
division, which was open to parti
cipants 8 to 12 years old, saw Ty
Christman emerging as the first
place winner. Christman face 13
other contestants in that division.
In second place in the junior
division was Sarah Day, and in
third place was Melinda Reichard.

Farm Tour
GAP (Lancaster Co.) —The
annual farm visits by Robert Walk
er, U.S. senator from the 16th dis
trict, will be made on August 23.
Four farms have been placed on
the schedule this year, according to
Cliff Blank, tour chairman.
The first stop at 9 a.m. is set for
the Bud Dean farm, Strasburg. To
get to the farm, take May Post
Office Road south of Strasburg,
then go right on Weaver Road, first
farm on the left.
At 10:30 a.m., the stop will be at
